FIELD: production of pure potable water in home conditions. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing, sorbent placed in casing, cover and filtering member attached to cover and formed as pack composed of 15-20 polypropylene rings with annular slits, bottom on which is positioned similar pack, and porous filtering member positioned inside pack and made in the form of three-dimensional propylene material with pores of 2-100 micron size. Filtering member has length twice the height of pack. Metal sleeve is positioned above projecting portion of filtering member. Water to be cleaned is directed down from inlet branch pipe mounted on cover to discharge branch pipe attached to bottom. Such construction provides for improved quality of sorbent regeneration. EFFECT: increased service life by improved process hydrodynamics and improved quality of cleaned water. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
