FIELD: environmental protection.
SUBSTANCE: sorption post-treatment of wastewater from coal mining, chemical, metallurgical and other industries characterized by the presence of contaminants of both organic and inorganic nature, for example benzene, phenol, manganese ions, iron, etc. The adsorber contains a cylindrical body, a pulsator, fittings for supplying and draining water, a device for supplying and uniformly distributing the adsorbent over the cross section of the body, and a device for removing contaminated adsorbent. In the lower part there is a perforated false bottom, made in the shape of an inverted trapezoid, the lower part of which forms a screw chamber in which a screw and a locking device are installed, fixed in one of the end walls of the chamber. In the central part of the body, horizontal partitions made of perforated corners are installed in a checkerboard pattern, the shelves of which have sides. Slots are formed between the horizontal partitions. Under the conical cover of the device, there is a system of concentric rings having a gable cross section and installed so that the flow of adsorbent falling from the upper ring falls on the top of the lower one, thereby splitting into two equal flows.
EFFECT: increased degree of utilization of the sorption capacity of the adsorbent, accelerated sorption process, as well as continuous operating cycle of the installation, which creates conditions for increasing productivity of the adsorber while maintaining the degree of wastewater treatment.
