FIELD: automotive industry; mass production of cars with engine in front. SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method two main parts of body are connected using corresponding operation. Blank of body to be used in operation consists of two preassembled main parts of body, front and rear ones, 1 and 2, respectively. These parts are furnished independently with corresponding components. Main components of car, such as engine, gearbox and auxiliaries are mounted in front part 1, and main decorative components, such as seats, covers mat are arranged in rear part 2. After assembly of front and rear parts of body, they are connected to each other and rigidly fastened. Main drive and operating units are concentrated in front part 1, and rear part 2 contains remaining part of body and components mounted at finishing. Segmentation passes near middle part of body. Assembling tools can be used. When front part 1 and rear part 2 are rigidly connected, they are painted and mounted.
