FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for creating reactive thrust for vehicles of different application. Jet propulsive device consists of one or several chambers accommodating vibrating plates on which flexible tapes with sharpened rear edge are installed for free turning. These tapes are secured at a maximum distance from front edge equal to 20% of plate length. Width of tapes can be equal to 10-20% of plate length. Outer surface of tape can be made flush with plate surface, or part of horizontal surface of chamber can be made to meet shape of flexible tape. Pair of flexible tapes can be installed in tail parts of plates for reversing. EFFECT: reduced vorticity on plates moving across flow, increased efficiency, decreased noise and vibration of propulsive device. 5 cl, 5 dwg
