FIELD: aeronautical engineering; devices for pre-rotation of landing wheels before landing. SUBSTANCE: side surface of wheel tyre is provided with blades wells of variable geometry; they are made from elastic flexible material. Wells are pressed to tyre wall; they open in the course of angular acceleration of wheel rotation under action of centrifugal forces; they are made from rubber, for example at prestress. Blades-wells are rectangular ion shape; they have longitudinal fold; on side of incoming flow, well is triangular in shape in expanded state. Blades-wells are also located on wheel disk. Provision is made for device pressing the blades at take-off in folded state and releasing the blades for pre-rotation of wheel after extension of landing gear before landing by means of electromagnets and springs. Device may be located on one or two sides of wheel. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of pre-rotation of wheel; improved aerodynamic properties at take-off; reduced overall dimensions of landing gear. 3 dwg
