FIELD: earth- moving machinery. SUBSTANCE: front-end equipment of wheel excavator has rotor wheel on which buckets with lips are mounted. Projections made on side surfaces of wheel over outer rim get into slots made in lips. Rear part of buckets is provided with plates secured on wheel by bolts and nuts. Slots are made on projections from two sides. Slots in lips and slots in projections are blind, and slots in plates are made closed. Slots in plates exceed in length those in lips. Plates are provided with stops for engagement with brackets found on wheel. Ends of bucket lips project beyond its housing and enclose rotor rim. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced labour input when assembling front-end equipment of wheel excavator. 8 cl, 2 dwg
