SUBSTANCE: heat exchanger has bank of parallel spiral coils with identical geometric characteristics and adjacent coils arranged in equilateral triangular grid at pitch found from the following formula: /. Coils are arranged in shell. Outer shell is provided with corrugations which are perpendicular to axes of spirals of coils and extreme coils of bank; distance between corrugations is equal to winding pitch of coils; height of corrugations is found from the following relationship: h= 0.5(D+d-0.866T). EFFECT: enhanced reliability and efficiency of heat exchange at minimum hydraulic resistance for various parameters and thermal physical properties of heat- transfer agents. 2 cl, 8 dwg
