FIELD: heat exchange apparatus for exchange of heat through walls; chemical, food-processing and oil-producing industries.
SUBSTANCE: proposed spiral heat exchanger has two slotted passages formed by sheets rolled in spiral for flow of heat-transfer agents, external and internal manifolds and end seals. Passages are provided with spacers in form of blisters stamped on surfaces of sheets and located in staggered order relative to blisters of other sheet. External manifolds are formed by one end of these sheets of them and internal manifolds are axially located one inside other and are welded together by means of tubes; second ends of sheets are welded to tube of larger diameter; walls of tubes have longitudinal slots-passages along generatrices for flow of heat-transfer agents.
EFFECT: simplified construction; facilitated procedure of manufacture; reduction of mass and outlays.
