FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering and can be used in heat exchangers with bundles of space-spiral cylindrical coils. In a heat exchanger containing a bundle of parallel space-spiral coils located in the housing, the turns of which are wound between the turns of adjacent space-spiral coils until contact, coils in the bundle have different geometrical dimensions, axes of adjacent coils are located at distances, forming a non-sided triangular mesh, wherein the coil at the vertex of the smaller angle in the triangular mesh can have a larger diameter, and coil at vertex of larger angle has smaller diameter of turns, wherein the diameter of the pipe and coils turns depends on the plastic properties of the pipe wall, which enables to form a symmetrical and asymmetric polyhedral mesh with a distance between the axes of adjacent coils depending on the diameter of the coil tube, the line and the winding pitch. Besides, coils with smaller diameter of coil are located inside coil with larger diameter of coil coaxially or with parallel displacement of coil axis with smaller diameter in orthogonal direction to heat exchanger wall.
EFFECT: increasing filling factor of heat exchanger housing with constancy of its dimensions.
