FIELD: analytical methods. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for determining activity of heavy metal ions in solutions, more specifically to solid membrane electrodes, and may be used both in analysis of trade waste waters and in ecological monitoring of water ecosystems. Electrode consists of case and, covering the surface of case, metal sulfide-based membrane made in the form of 50-500-nm film based on sulfide of metal to be assessed.
