FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: shovel comprises a blade and a composite handle. The blade can be connected with a flexible rod adjustable on length with an extra handle. One of the parts of a composite handle is connected to the blade, and the other part can be connected to a handle or a grip. The parts of a composite handle are interconnected with a rigid joint in the form of a bent tube or a bent rod shaped of section. The rigid joint connects the parts of the composite handle forming a lever, which shoulder length between the plane of the blade and the end of the handle with a handle or a grip is equal to the length of the long arm when depressed vertically into the ground blade.
EFFECT: implementation will enable to simplify the design, to reduce the cost of its manufacture and provide ease of use.
