FIELD: mechanical engineering; running-in new and repaired fuel injection pumps of diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel injection pump running-in device has crank-and-link mechanism for converting uniform rotation of electric motor shaft into non-uniform rotation of camshaft on pump under running-in. U-shaped rotating carrier is installed on movable support between driving and driven parts of drive to make sliders move along posts used as guides. Posts are intercoupled by axle rotation for phase displacement relative to each other. Device has three sliders. Two of sliders in driven part of drive are hinge-coupled and they can be fixed, each, on its guide. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, enhanced control of running-in and conditions of servicing. 3 cl, 8 dwg
