FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; testing facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed device for running-in of fuel injection pump connected by pipelines with nozzles contains fuel tank with filter and fuel pipelines, electric motor and drive shaft coupled with pump camshaft through slotted-link mechanism. Crank of slotted-link mechanism is installed on drive shaft, and rotating link is coupled with camshaft of pump. Crank of pump drive shaft is made with variable le4ngth depending on turning angle of drive shaft and it consists of two parts. One of parts is fixed on drive shaft and the other, movable part, is coupled with rotating link and is furnished with its own additional drive. Crank of variable length is made in form of telescopic connection between movable and fixed parts. Fixed part operates as guide, and movable part, as pusher. Pusher drive is made in form of drive shaft of programmable cam arranged in center relative to axis of rotation. With pump drive shaft rotating, pusher engages with shaped surface of programmable cam by one of its ends. EFFECT: improved possibility of regulation of frequency and amplitude of high-frequency component of oscillatory process in solution-link drive of pump under running-in. 2 cl, 2 dwg
