FIELD: measurement technology, diagnostics of surfaces of races. SUBSTANCE: in accordance with process one of races of lubricated bearing is rotated with working rotational speed, bearing is loaded with radial force constant by value, integral parameter of lubrication condition of bearing for different sections of raceway of tested ring is measured and deviations of parameter per each section from minimal one from obtained values are used to determine quality of surface of this section. Total number n of sections of raceway of tested ring is chosen equal to Z from condition n , where Z is number of solids of revolution in bearing and φ is permissible angular digitization step determined by precision required for location of defect. EFFECT: enhanced sensitivity and resolution thanks to diminished dimensions of test zone. 3 dwg
