FIELD: production of liquid excrement sorbents. SUBSTANCE: method involves using porous raw material, such as opal; drying and simultaneously grinding to break continuous lumps into pieces of up to 50 mm size; separating dust particles and fractions of 20 mm size; upon grinding, packing fractions having sizes of up to 20 mm; packing opal fillers in small-sized packs. Opal filler may be used for sorption of liquid excrements in cattle yards and vivaria, as well as in any animal keeping premises. EFFECT: increased moisture and gas sorption capacity and provision for adequate hygienic animal keeping conditions. 4 dwg
