FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention is used on railway transport with electric drives of frogs with continuous rolling surface for additional closing of pressed point on switch frogs. Locking mechanism has clamp arranged above driving plate coupled with rack. Plate has wedging step with driving chamfers engaging with clamp. Two shackle-like guides are installed under carriage. Driving plate is placed in one of guides. Other guide, furnished with stop, accommodates driving plate and clamp with hinge joint freely fitted on grip pin. Clamp has spherical locking surface. Thrust planes of clamp designed for engagement with driving plate are made in lower part of shanks and in zone of clamp-to-hinge joint connection.
