FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: method may be used for killing shock wave energy in cases of gas and dust explosions in mines. To isolate emergency district in cases of explosion hazard, flexible stopping in the form of toroidal body with central hole is installed in mine working on probable passage of air shock wave, and on side of isolated district. Under mine roof, container with parachute lock is installed for its possible motion in operation into central hole of toroidal body with aim of its overlapping and wedging of stopping in side rocks of working. EFFECT: higher efficiency and safety of rescue operations involves in isolation of hazardous district, reduction of material and labor inputs for quick construction of protective structure on path of probable passage of air shock wave front. 3 cl, 2 dwg
