DEVICE FOR LOCALIZATION OF BLAST WAVE ENERGY Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: device is used in temporary isolation of mine working in case of explosion of methane-air mixture. The device comprises filtering canvas fabric and its fasteners in the form of cramps and clasps in mine working section and flexible slings reinforcing canvas. Canvas filtering fabric has releasing windows and made extensible from two sections for transverse displacement over working cross-section relative to each other. Installed in one of releasing windows is opening flexible closed shell in the form of longitudinal inflating body made of material impermeable for air and ending on side of isolated section in inlet pipe in the form of diffuser oriented towards front of blast wave. Inlet pipe of longitudinal inflating body has check valve and excessive pressure release valve. Secured to inlet pipe is self-contained source of compressed gas supply made, for instance, in the form of gas generating device with remote starting. Fastened in interrail space of mine working is apron of blast wave dissipation with booster for installation of apron in lower section of working to operating position. EFFECT: localization of energy of blast wave and provision of erection, if necessary, permanent isolating stoppings. 4 cl, 2 dwg
