MESHING OF VARIABLE-SPEED TRANSMISSION Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2153614 C2

FIELD: machine engineering, possibly conversion of rotary motion. SUBSTANCE: meshing is realized between two discs. Power members with cylindrical working surface are arranged on inner end surface of one disc; said members are connected with disc by means of sphere-joint assemblies. Second disc has profiled teeth on end surface for engaging with above mentioned power members. Rotation axes of discs may be inclined one relative to another. Disc carrying power members includes limit position stoppers. EFFECT: simplified design of disc with power members, possibility of increasing number of power members at the same diameter of disc, smoothness of running, enhanced loading capability and increased useful life period. 16 cl, 6 dwg
