FIELD: rust protection of main-line gas and oil products. SUBSTANCE: unit of source materials includes roll of 450-500 mm wide containing polymeric film-base, adhesive layer, antiadhesive layer, as well as roll installation mechanism and wrapper which is antiadhesive layer of 0.55-0.6 mm thick. Unit is positioned near pipeline so that axis of source material roll is arranged along pipeline at definite angle to longitudinal axis of pipeline to obtain required winding pitch of film-base or wrapper. Then roll of source material is moved along pipeline and rotated simultaneously around pipeline and about its own axis, thereby unwinding source material from roll and winding it on pipeline along helical line. In this case, the first polymeric film-base is wound with overlapping. Film-base is glued to pipeline by means of adhesive layer. Then wrapper is wound on film-base. Starting end of wrapper is secured on film-base prior to winding. Simultaneously with unwinding of film-base from roll, antiadhesive layer is brought out of interlayer space inside roll. Antiadhesive layer is continuously brought while winding it with overlapping and securing on surface of film-base fixed on pipeline. Unit of source materials makes it possible to improve conditions of work and ecological situation at the place of construction or repair of gas-and-oil pipelines. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 2 dwg
