FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, method of manufacture of small-sized chemical current sources- nickel-hydrogen cells. SUBSTANCE: the method consists in pressing of positive and negative electrodes out of active material; the positive electrode is assembled of separate cylindrical tabs in a cylinder as a whole, wrapped with a nickel screen of rectangular shape, and the negative electrode is manufactured by the method of flaring of a metal perforated base coated with active material for negative electrode with bonding and separation material on the side of perforation, and wrapped around the positive electrode. EFFECT: enhanced capacity of cell within the same overall dimensions, reduced specific consumption of expensive materials. 4 tbl
