FIELD: applicable in TV, radio communication and broadcasting systems as an independent aerial or element of a broad-band phased array. SUBSTANCE: the aerial has a reflector and a symmetrical radiator, whose arms are made in the form of similar loops with a perimeter (0.7-1) of the maximum operating wavelength lying in the same plane, with the terminals facing one another; the terminals of the separate loop are connected to the opposite terminals of the other loop and form the aerial input; the reflector and radiator are positioned in coplanar planes, the reflector is identical to the symmetrical radiator the closed terminals of the separate loop are connected to the closed terminals of the other loop; the longitudinal axis of the reflector, passing through the centers of the loops forming the reflector arms, is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the symmetrical radiator, and the centers of the radiator and reflector lie on the line perpendicular to the above coplanar planes. The separate loops of the symmetrical radiator and reflector may be made in the form of a regular polygon. EFFECT: bandwidth is not less than an octave, unidirectional pattern and improved mass and dimensional characteristics. 2 cl, 1 dwg
