Orientation of module in contact with ground defines longitudinal and transverse planes intersecting in vertical. Support and module in contact with ground are components of set. Drive from engine installed on set and coupled with module in contact with ground provides movement of set and man along surface. One of design versions has control circuit in form of vehicle stability control device which includes drive from engine for dynamically increasing stability in longitudinal plane by combined operation of drive from engine and module in contact with ground. Module in contact with ground can be made in form of pair of members in contact with ground arranged transversely relative to each other. Wheels can be used for this purpose. As a version, each unit in contact with ground can included group of wheels. According to other design version, each unit in contact with ground employs two pairs of bow-shaped members adjacent in axial direction and installed for rotation. So self-propelled vehicle with direction control designed for transportation of man along rough terrain and simultaneously providing convenient movement along relatively smooth surface is created.
