FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described are crystalline metal phosphates, more specifically crystalline alumophosphates of molecular sieve type having new structure designed as U10-6 and method of preparing thereof. Said metal-phosphates are useful as catalyst or substrate thereof. Composition of microporous crystalline metal phosphates has main carcass structure identified in powder diffraction pattern of characteristic X-rays given in Table 1 and chemical composition of which in calcined anhydrous form is expressed as molar ratios of oxides has structure (MxAlyPz)O2, wherein M is silicon, x+y+x=1 wherein x, y and z are molar fractions of silicon, aluminium and phosphorus present in product and wherein x has value from 0.25 to 0.5. Also described is method of preparing products from reaction mixture which contains monovalent cations (M) fluoride and molar ratios are as follows: wherein R is organic template agent. As described in invention, microporous crystalline metal phosphate having new structure is prepared. U10-6 demonstrates surface characteristics which make it suitable for use as catalyst or catalyst substrate at various transformations of hydrocarbons and in oxidizing combustion processes.
