FIELD: organic chemistry, particularly, manufacture of frost-resistant fluororubbers. SUBSTANCE: perfluoropropionyl fluoride is made to contact with aqueous solution of inorganic peroxide at -15-+5 C in liquid fluorochlorosubstituted hydrocarbon, e.g. coolant 113. Perfluoropropionyl fluoride is unpurified hexafluoropropylene oxide isomerization reaction product in the presence of triethyl amine in the same solvent. Method makes it possible to prepare sufficiently pure product with good yield. The best result is attained by using coolant 113, 30% hydroxide peroxide and 30-% aqueous solution at sodium hydroxide at 1:(0.05-0.12):(0.05-0.15) ratio by volume, and isomerization is carried out at 15-45 C in 5-15 wt.% solution of triethyl amine in coolant 113.
