SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for synthesis of perfluorinated diacyl peroxide, namely, perfluoro-2-methyl-3-oxahexanoyl peroxide as an initiating agent in radical copolymerization of fluorinated olefins. Pefluoro-2-methyl-3-oxahexanoic acid fluoroanhydride and sodium hydroxide an aqueous solution are fed by separated flow simultaneously to contact mass formed by mixing HpOp an aqueous solution with fluorine-containing halogen-substituted hydrocarbon, preferably, with perfluoromethylcyclohexane or 1-hydro-4-chlorooctafluorobutane. Reagents are used as 5-10% aqueous solutions. The preferable regime: the volume ratio of an aqueous phase to an organic phase = (0.28-0.80):1; the ratio of H₂O₂ to fluorine-containing halogen-substituted hydrocarbon = (0.15-0.46):1; the mole ratio of sodium hydroxide to H₂O₂ = 0.87-1.2 Method provides reducing consumption of reagents, enhancing safety and improving thermostability of prepared copolymer with this initiating agent.
