FIELD: metallurgical treatment of molten metal baths. SUBSTANCE: treatment is effected by supply of reagents which may evaporate at high or low gas formation and other modifying or rectifying substances. The device has reactor in the form of two chambers intercommunicated through opening. The first evaporation chamber is designed for receiving reagent, while the second, diffusion one is designed for receiving vapors coming from the first chamber. Device also has means for continuous and separate dosing and supply to reactor of reagent and modifying substance. The device allows continuous treatment of molten metal bath with the help of system of continuous supply of reagent, introduction and distribution of modifying substances to provided for favorable solidification of graphite in cast iron in compliance with stable system, even simultaneously with vaporable element promoting formation of globular graphite and/or its modifications.
