Abstract RU 2154171 C1

FIELD: electric power generation by burning natural gas. SUBSTANCE: plant has set of gas power units placed in pond filled with working agent, buffer chamber, hydraulic turbine, control unit, and connecting pipelines. Gas power unit is, essentially, encapsulated combustion chamber accommodating working-agent inlet and outlet back-pressure valves and provided with gas-air mixture pre-ignition chamber with spark plug and float valve that holds working agent at desired level. Buffer chamber is mounted on pipeline passing working agent to hydraulic turbine; upon leaving the turbine, working agent is returned to pond over pipeline. Control unit communicates with float valve through gas-air mixture injection system and spark plug. EFFECT: enlarged generated-power range. 3 cl, 4 dwg
