FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: device can be used as propulsion unit transmitting energy to output shaft and as flywheel accumulating energy at braking and yielding it is acceleration. Unit consists of housing and piston system of movement conversion device. Housing made in form of solid of revolution has two toroidal spaces which pistons move. Pistons are made as toroidal segments. This design can be used in auxiliary devices, such as pumps. Movement conversion device converts vibration of piston into rotation. Device secured on housing consists of bushing and intermediate shaft from which rotation is transmitted to housing axle and to output shaft. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 5 dwg
