FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: electric drive is used to control shut-off fittings of oil pipelines. Electric drive has body accommodating electric motor, reduction gear, manual doubler with immovable half-clutch and torque-limiting coupling in the form of spring-loaded movable and immovable half-couplings. Electric drive is provided with converter and recorder connected to it. Converter is coupled kinematically to torque-limiting coupling, spring-loaded movable half-coupling of which is made double-sided and mounted for alternative interaction with corresponding immovable half-couplings of manual doubler and with torque-limiting coupling. Electric drive allows torque value adjustment irrespective of both directions of rotation of electric drive output shaft. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
