FIELD: pipe line fittings; actuating mechanisms for control of ball cocks of main gas lines. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive has body, two pneumatic motors secured on this body, transfer device whose drive members is connected with pneumatic motor and driven member is connected with swivel gate of valve; manual stand-by drive is connected with one of kinematic members of transfer device. Pneumatic motors are non-reversible rotary motors which are connected with opposite ends of drive member of transfer device by means of starting clutches; transfer device consists of gear trains connected in series. Manual stand-by drive has flywheel, shaft and operating unit. Flywheel is provided with handle fitted for control of arm of applied force. Shaft of manual stand-by drive is mounted inside tubular bracket. Operating unit of stand-by drive is made in form of self-controlled clutch which makes it possible to connect flywheel with shaft of stand-by drive. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of drive operated by energy of compressed gas transported through pipe line; possibility of operating valve by force of one worker in emergency. 7 cl, 5 dwg
