SUBSTANCE: sample of venous blood is taken in sick child, hemolysate is prepared where activity of glutathione transferase and glutathione reductase is determined. Ratio of the first index to the second one is calculated. Malabsorption syndrome of the 1st, the 2nd and the 3rd degree of severity is diagnosed at coefficient values 0.43-0.67; 0.70-0.90 and 0.91-1.47, respectively.
