FIELD: medicine, gastroenterology. SUBSTANCE: the method studies an echogenicity for the walls of cecum, ascending colon, cross-colon, descending colon, sigmoid flexure and rectum according to intensity values of a gray-colored scale and at 41-68% echogenicity values and slight wall thickening being about 3-4 mm the first degree of wall damage and minimal process activity are determined. At 27- 40% echogenicity values and wall thickening about 4-7 mm the second degree of wall damage and moderate process activity are established. At 15-26% echogenicity values and wall thickening about 8-10 mm the third degree of wall damage and pronounced process activity are detected at echogenicity norm being 41-68% and wall thickness being 2-3 mm. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of prediction. 3 ex
