FIELD: computer engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for replenishment of storage cells of personal computers. Device to charge storage cells of personal computers presents ball manipulator ( mouse or track ball ) which case is made of magnetically soft material. Ball of device is manufactured from nonmagnetic material and houses permanent magnet whose poles have shape of ball. Case of device houses rectifier and winding that functions jointly with ball and case of device as magnetic circuit and presents generator of bipolar electric pulses while operator uses manipulator. From output of winding pulses are fed to rectifier from whose output they are supplied in one polarity to charging device Technical objective of invention lies in widened technological capabilities of device thanks to insertion of additional technological operation that employs movement of operator's hands and results in generation of electric energy used to charge storage cells of personal computer when operating off independent power supply source.
