FIELD: telecommunication. SUBSTANCE: proposal deals with open high-speed wide-band digital communication system for connection of many programmed telecommunication switches with formation of commutation system of large capacity not divided into blocks. Each switching point includes circuit units for transmission and reception of information integrated in packages of variable length through system providing by that each switching point with possibility of reception of information from all other switching points and of dispatch of information to all other switching points. System can carry information of any type including voice messages, digital data, video, multimedia and controlling messages, service messages on configuration and maintenance. Width of system band can be divided and shared between various types of information. Devices, such as devices processing voice messages, can also interact with given system acquiring by that direct access to all information. There are also proposed processes and structures of packages for exchange of information over system. Assemblage of systems can be interconnected to obtain larger commutation capacity or capacity to process voice messages. EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of system. 52 cl, 20 dwg
