SUBSTANCE: notifying a switching unit on the length of the message to be transmitted during the connection establishment phase enables to prevent network conflicts associated with memory overflow of switching units, improves the efficiency of using communication channels owing to real-time transmission of long messages using a channel switching mode, and short messages using a packet switching mode. By providing a training mode, a test traffic generator enables to predict network load without the involvement of users (subscribers) by generating random pulse sequences which simulate basic types of traffic of modern telecommunication systems.
EFFECT: high efficiency of using output circuits and improved probability-time characteristics of data communication with an allowable level of service denial by selecting a switching mode and using local adaptive, decentralised and centralised routing, taking into account the buffer memory load level at different network levels of a distributed system hierarchy, implementing a training mode and device settings with a wide range of traffic types used in modern network technologies, reduction of the probability of breakdown and the average delay time of messages when servicing with a non-uniform traffic device occurs due to preliminary training of the system and taking into account its status when selecting the switching mode.
