FIELD: mechanical engineering; applicable in performance of auxiliary operations in service of equipment of different branches of mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: mounted on movable base is actuating mechanism with driving link and jaw for gripping of articles. Base may be turned under action of mechanism in the form of hinged four-link member whose outlet link is rigidly connected with the movable base. Driving links of turning mechanism and actuating mechanism are kinematically interconnected. Hinged four-link member may be made in the form of crank-rocker mechanism with outlet link in the form of crank. Ratio of lengths of mechanism links is preset by specified mathematical expression. Gripping jaws are secured to outlet links of actuating mechanism. Driving link of actuating mechanism presents unit of two driving cams. Kinematic chain of driving links of turning and actuating mechanisms may be in the form of pulleys and flexible members. Movable base may be hinged to axle of rocking of outlet link of turning mechanism and provided with supporting roller installed in curved recess of plate.
