FIELD: production of ornamental members and articles from natural stone. SUBSTANCE: method involves using organogenic concretions of septarian nodules, belemnites, and ammonites of Cenozoic and Mesozoic periods; sawing portions of septaria having maximum diameter; portions of septaria with belemnite inclusions having maximum diameter extending through axis of rosthornite coming out onto surface of sample; sawing belemnites along axis of rosthornite or across it, depending on size; sawing ammonites in plane of symmetry; performing subsequent sawings in planes parallel to plane of first sawing; filling caverns in sawing surface with the material of concretions.
