FIELD: hydraulic shock absorbers for rigid towing gear. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic shock absorber has cylindrical reservoir accommodating cylinder with piston and rod with axial bore. Rod end of cylinder is connected with reservoir cavity by hole provided with valve consisting of disk member and corrugated spring washer. Cylinder rodless cavity is connected with reservoir through narrowed valve. Installed into rod stepped axial bore is stepped control valve with groove on its outer surface, through axial and radial holes, and its motion is restricted from right side by locking ring and from left side, by rod wall. Rod has inclined hole connecting cylinder rod end with stepped axial bore in rod, and radial holes with check valve in each hole. Check valve consists of disk spring with holes and ball spring-loaded from the side of cylinder rod end. Check valve separates cylinder rod end from rod stepped axial bore. Piston has throttling hole is installed for motion relative to rod within the limits set by locking rings, washers and springs. EFFECT: efficient smoothing of dynamic loads at any stage of their development to reduce braking length and fuel consumption, and higher efficiency of transport train and improved driver labor conditions. 4 dwg
