FIELD: transport engineering; gearbox control mechanism with remote control drive for invalids. SUBSTANCE: proposed mechanism has gearshift lever installed on floor near pedal unit, and gear selector control. According to first and second design versions, gear selector control is made in form of fork located as side of standard gearshift lever and is coupled with the latter through mechanical linkage. According to first design version, bell crank rotating on horizontal axle is used. One of arms of bell crank is hinge-coupled through rigid tie-rod with standard members of gearbox gear-shift drive. According to second design version, swinging lever is used with axis of rotation relative to vertical axis within 15 and 50.
