FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of technical acoustics, in particular to vibroacoustic research of vehicles equipped with transmission with mechanical drive of friction clutch. In implementing the method, the vehicle under test is mounted on running chambers of a dynamometric bench located in an acoustic semi-un-echo chamber. Measuring microphones are installed in vehicle cabin in regulated control points. Series of preliminary arrivals of the vehicle on the road drums is performed with simultaneous recording of the noise parameters recorded by the measuring microphones at different operating modes of the mechanical gearbox. Adjuster-disengagement, when changing gearbox stages during preliminary runs, is performed by vehicle driver using standard drive of clutch engagement mechanism. After completion of the series of preliminary arrivals, the clutch engagement mechanism elements are dismantled and the control device is mounted on the vehicle power unit. At that, long arm of control lever is oriented towards cowl of compartment of power unit compartment, and threaded end of drawbar is arranged and fixed in tip of standard yoke of engagement mechanism. After installing the mounting device, a series of refining runs is carried out, which are also carried out on running chassis dynamometers and similar to pre-run operating modes of the mechanical gearbox. Adjuster-disengagement of clutch, at change of gearbox stages, is performed by assistant driver by action on long arm of control lever of control device. Specifying arrivals are accompanied with record of noise parameters registered by measuring microphones. Upon completion of specifying studies, the noise parameters recorded by the microphones during the arrivals of the preliminary and specifying series are compared. Decision on the need to produce finishing works is made based on research and development works.
