FIELD: development of means of initiation of detonating cords with a preset delay. SUBSTANCE: the pyrotechnical a preset delay. The pyrotechnical relay consists of two delayed-action primer detonators, the percussive-wave tube connecting them is enclosed in an undeformable tube, after fastening in the retarding part of the primer detonator the ends of the percussive-wave tube are looped to its body. The ends of the detonating cords are also looped to the body of each primer detonator around the high-explosive part so that both loops would be contiguous to each other. The entire attachment is enclosed in a special fixing container having a bed for the primer detonators and a cover with lugs for fixing the loops of the cord and tube on the casings of the primer detonators.
