FIELD: communication equipment, in particular, design of information transmission systems, which require high level of confidentiality and reliability of data processing. SUBSTANCE: method involves two stages of information processing. Upon information protection stage, method involves preparation of data for storage or transmission via communication channel by means of their encrypting and generation of simulation sequences or check sums. Upon data access stage, method involves decryption of monitoring of data integrity. Input and organization of data upon access stage is achieved by means of standard personal computer, which can use software bookmarks. Data processing runs in firmware environment using special- purpose software, which is encrypted, decrypted and monitored using second level cryptographic protection software, which, in its turn, is encrypted and decrypted using public first level cryptographic protection software. This results in possibility to use encrypted form of cryptographic algorithm in standard computer, while its decryption runs in special-purpose hardware, which cannot run undetectable software bookmarks embedded into it.
