FIELD: digital communication, in particular, telephone network. SUBSTANCE: Goal of invention is achieved by new element, which are introduced into standard equipment to achieve confidentiality of all types of telephone exchange using pseudorandom sequence generators, which are used for transmission and reception. Pseudorandom sequences are filled by source data using random number generator before each communication session. Each filling of pseudorandom sequence at input corresponds to specific pseudorandom sequence at output of generator of pseudorandom sequences. Resulted pseudorandom sequence is subjected to binary addition to public telephone information in order to provide confidential communication mode. Different values of random numbers before each instantiation of communication session provides generation of different pseudorandom sequences, so that eavesdropping by telephone line operator is impossible. EFFECT: increased safety of communication upon telephone exchange of operator to calling and called parties as well as during telephone talk between parties. 3 cl, 1 dwg
