FIELD: medicine, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: pharmaceutical composition has the following components, mas.pts.: vinpocetine as an active substance, 1.0; starch, 4.1-12.4; lactose, 6.8-24.8; aerosil, 0.1-1.64; and stearic acid salt, 0.05-0.2, as pharmaceutically acceptable accessory substances. Composition is made as tablet preferably. Method of preparing the pharmaceutical composition involves mixing vinpocetine with vehicle, wetting obtained mass with starch paste, wet granulation, drying, dry granulation, addition of aerosil and stearic acid salt followed by tabletting. Mixture of starch and lactose is used as vehicle in mass ratio = 1:(1.40-2.04), respectively. Mass ratio of starch paste and wetting mass = 1:(2.5-3.9). Starch paste has 2.0-8.0 wt.% of starch. Remained mass of starch is added in vehicle composition. New composition releases active substance vinpocetine easily.
