FIELD: pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: milk vetch (Astragalus) herb is extracted with 30% or 50, or 70% ethyl alcohol at 60-65 C and at phase ratio = 1: 10. Extract is evaporated to 1/3 of volume under vacuum. Lipophilic substances are removed by settling at 2-4 C for 48 h.
