NOISE SHIELD Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: noise shields designed for protection of residential buildings from noises and installed along main motor roads and railroad, round construction sites, industrial objects and other noise sources. SUBSTANCE: noise shield is mounted on foundation and consists of a set of acoustic panels made in the form of parallelepipeds whose cavities are filled with sound-absorbing modules made of mineral wool and having perforations. Each panel is formed of two U-shaped sheets and provided in its upper and lower parts with vibration damping retainers made of polyethylene. Retainers are made in the form of covers with trough-shaped cross-sections. Made over perimeter of upper part of external surface of each retainer is boss whose body has vertical recess in which walls of acoustic panels are installed with interference. EFFECT: simplified installation and transportation of shield, improved damping of acoustic vibrations and higher reliability of shield design. 2 cl, 3 dwg
