CHECK VALVE-GATE Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: check valve-gate is used as shut-off protective member in pipelines carrying liquid media. It has body with seat, cover, spindle, gate, lever with turning axle, and rest. Platform is positioned between body and seat. Platform is provided with hole for spindle, sealing circular projection and recess, boss with seat for turning axle, and windows for passing the elements of lever attachment to axle. Rest is made as a plate moved in guide slots of body and fixed to spindle by detachable joint. Lever is provided with cams interacting directly with rest and gate. Lock positioned on gate tail-piece keeps the latter in coaxial hole of lever. The invention makes it possible to reduce quantity of pipeline valves and to reconstruct shutoff fittings of the first circuits at acting atomic power plants without fundamental reconstruction of pipelines.
