FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: device is used for repair of pipelines and for cutting of branches into them. Assembled body of the device accommodates spindle with cutting tool, shut-off member, spindle rotation drive and appliance for mounting the device on pressure pipeline. Provision is made for manual control of tool introduction into machining zone and for mechanical removal of tool from that zone. After hole is made and cutting tool is removed from it shut-off member is cut off. Transmission of rotation from drive to spindle is simplified.
