FIELD: construction and operation of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: housing of set accommodates spindle with cutting tool. Spindle axial and angular shift gears come into meshing with corresponding drive gears installed coaxially to shaft of drive mechanism. Spindle axial shift gear is provided with lever-type position selector. Drive gears are coupled by spline joint. Axial shaft driven gear is coupled with lead screw forming left- hand thread pair with spindle. Angular shift gear is mounted on spindle by means of spline joint. Brake shoe secured on angular shift driven gear of lead screw can operate together with lever-type position selector after shifting of spindle through preset distance. Axial shift gear is coupled with lead screw through clutch with race and return spring with possibility of mating with end face surface of spindle at its displacement in direction from pipeline.
